So many EMS programs struggle with the problem of clinical readiness. There’s so much for students to learn during their studies that they lack the necessary clinical time to prepare them for the variety of cases, patients, and procedures they will face as a new provider.

Using real-patient video cases can supplement traditional EMS curricula by 1)exposing students to the clinic earlier in their EMS program, 2) allowing both students and instructors to observe the same patient (thus reducing subjectivity of clinical reports), and3) allowing students to apply the theoretical learning to real patient cases.

In this webinar, hosted by NAEMSE and led by Ted Lee, Program Director for Missouri Southern State University’s EMS program, we will use a case study to highlight possible uses of real patient video and review survey data illustrating the effectiveness of using video cases in learner outcomes.

This webinar is free to attend for both NAEMSE members and non-members. We hope you'll join us!
